VOTE FOR THE CHANGE !
I got only one thing to say…………
God gave Adam and Eve free choice in the Garden of Eden. The only thing he told them was…”Do not eat from the Apple tree”
Nevertheless he gave them free choice!
I am pro-life, I do not believe in abortion, just to name this two.
But I do believe in free choice.
If you as a Christian believe that we each will be judged by the Lord when our day comes, that we will be judged as we judged people. Than you should sit back and think about.
McCain and company try to act like the Obama/Biden ticket is for abortion, against pro-life, etc.,which they are not.
They each have their own opinion, but they don’t force that opinion down my throat.
They let YOU make the choice if you in a situation to chose either good or evil.
And that’s how it should be!
Well that is just my little two cents on this.
If I could vote, I would vote for Obama/Biden, sadly I cant(not a citizen yet). But I dont miss a chance to talk about it anytime I can. And I truly believe that he will win.
I pray that our Lord’s Will will be done in this election!
I always was and always will be for FREE CHOICE. You choose and you live with that decision you make!
VOTE FOR CHANGE WE CAN ALL LIVE WITH

Andrea,
I used to feel the same way. But the more I read the Scriptures and understand God’s perspective on things, the more I have changed. I cannot support a law that directly violates God’s law (note: I am not talking about abortions when a woman’s life is at risk). I have the “free choice” to do lots of things. But that doesn’t mean I should. God says that we shall not commit murder. Pregnancy is the result of exercising the “free choice” to have sex. Again, we have the “choice” to do so, but that doesn’t mean we should. There are consequences for making choices that violate God’s intended purposes for sex, or anything else. We should support women who become pregnant, promote adoption, educate our girls on the perils of sex outside of marriage, lift up purity as honorable and praiseworthy, and stop turning a blind eye to the mass murder that is taking place everyday, not to mention the clearly recorded physical and emotional scars left behind in those who have aborted.
Remember, God gives beauty for ashes! He is able to turn the “curse” of unwanted pregnancy into something beautiful, and I have seen it first hand as babies who could have been aborted are instead adopted by other loving families, and as women who decide to keep their babies discover a blessing instead! The women who choose life can spend the rest of their lives knowing that they did the right and good thing, with no regrets. They can redeem their “mistake” by giving that child the life they were responsible for creating. There are thousands of people in this country who are longing to adopt. Abortion on demand should never be legal, just as murdering my neighbor should never be legal, even though I may have the “free choice” to do so.
This country was founded upon the idea that all people are created equal and have certain inalieable rights, one of which is life. When people talk about abortion, they are always concerned about the “rights” of the mother. What about the rights of the baby who has no voice? I understand your position because I used to believe it myself. But I respectfully ask you to consider God’s perspective on the issue. It is His law we must obey above all others. And then we must pray that God will change the hearts and minds of our culture which glamorizes and normalizes pre-marital sex and other immorality!

Andrea,
When it comes to personalities, I like Obama. I do not like McCain. Compared with Obama, McCain comes across as a crusty old fart (excuse the French) and not very likeable. Obama is a very good speaker and he carries himself well.
I’m all about freedom, however as the old saying goes…”Our freedom(choice) ends where another’s begins.”
I love the fact that we live in a free county, but I don’t think people should be allowed the freedom to steal purses from little old ladies. Really, they ought to be stopped! Suppose someone makes a choice to rob a bank? Do they have the freedom to do this? Certainly not! I appreciate the fact that we have a government that will track down people like that and punish them.
Let’s take this to the level of abortion. Do we really believe human beings are created “imago deo,” or in the image of God? If we say yes, then it is wrong to take the life of human beings made in the image of God. The struggle with this whole issue is that not only does our government approve of doing this (giving people the freedom to murder) our tax dollars help contribute to it! Can you imagine a goverment that not only supported child molesters but took your tax money to support such a activity? It’s almost unthinkable, yet that is exactly the kind of thing we see with federally funded abortions.
Yes, I believe in freedom, but true freedom or “libertos”, means I’m free to be everything God wants us to be, not free to do whatever I think is good for me at any given moment. God gave Adam and Eve freedom, but their choices brought severe consequences. “When you eat the fruit of that tree, you will surely die.”
Ultimately, I’ve got to vote for McCain, (trust me..it’s not because I like him) but because I cannot support Obama’s stance on abortion. I confess, I’m a one issue voter. Abortion is an attack on the image of God. 40 million children have been murdered now. We’ve brought a curse from God upon ourself. God save us!
With love,
Chris
