Well some people asked me to translate the website from  schlankschlafen.de
So here I let you know what I do, and what they recommend to do!

The german website says, eat lots of carbs in the morning, a mixture of carbs and Protein at lunch, and only protein for dinner. Also eat so much that you feel full, dont be
scared about the calories. Of course if you can make it lowfat thats wonderful but not a requirement.
What is required however is that you have between each meal a 5 hour break, and in those 5 hours do not eat even a crumb of something.
Overnight your body should have a rest from your last meal to breakfast of 12 hours if possible.

For example I ate yesterday………..

Breakfast……….1 Bagel with chocolate spread “nutella” (in almost every store)
Lunch…………….1 Chicken Cordon Bleu with Broccoli, Roll with Butter, 1Yoghurt
Dinner……………Cheese, (any kind you have) , Tomato w/dip, green peppers

This is mostly how every day looks like.
I drink coffee with non-dairy creamer and “raw sugar” mostly through the day. You should drink about 3 liters of water, but I cant get it down yet. I can drink however 3 liters of coffee. :lol:

Carb foods are:  all grain products, like bread, rolls, Muesli, oatmeals, cake and cookies, Veggies, fruits, dry fruits, Sugar, Beer, Coke, Fruit juice and other sodalike drinks, ect..

Protein Foods are: all meats like( Beef, Pork, game, Turkey, chicken), lunchmeats, Fish and seafood, Eggs, milk, cheeses, Soya products, tomatoes, Citrus fruits like (oranges, lemons), exotic fruits like (papaya, mangos), strawberries, blackberries,  fruits with those stones in it like (Peaches, Nectarines, cherries), fruit teas,

The rules:

1). Eat three meals a day, and always eat till you feel full! (kids up to 12 years 4 meals)
2). If in the beginning you cant eat yourself full like in the morning, you can have a banana,or an apple, or a joghurt, or a piece of cheese in between. But you should try fast to get on 3 meals only without any snacking, OK
3). Drink lots of water or tea.
4). Always eat carbs (potato, bread, pasta, rice,  ect.) without fish, or meat, or any animal fats in it.
5). Eat Meat, Fish only in combination with veggies, or salads.
6). Never eat Bread and Butter before your meal, it is not the filling you look for that lasts for hours, ok
7). If you have the desire for chocolate eat only 70% or higher chocolate.
8). If you slip on this, there is always tomorrow, no guilt allowed on this program!
9). Eat with joy and chew each bite at least 20 times.
10). Do not look at this as a quick Diet, rather understand that this is a LIFE and FOOD REARRANGEMENT, for your health and a long life!

A TIP
To really get your Metabolism to go……drink your water as cold as you can. For your body to process ice cold water, your body has to bring this water to body temperature, in that your body burns calories.

Ok one more time……

FOR BREAKFAST

Combine Bread, or Muesli, with Fruits, or Veggies, or nuts, Margarine or Butter, sweet cream as well as jam, jelli, honey, and sugar are allowed.

REFRAIN FROM

Protein, wether it is from eggs, fish, meat, any milk or milk products, EXCEPT butter and cream are allowed
 

FOR LUNCH

NO exceptions, eat a diverse, adequately Mix of Carbs and Protein. All drinks are allowed. Even a little sweet desert is allowed!

DINNER

Combine Meat, Fish, ect., eggs, joghurt, cream cheese, with veggies except ( corn and white beans, kidney beans…..however green beans are allowed).

Stay away from grains, heavy gravys, sugary fruits, sweet drinks, fruit juices, ect.

BETWEEN MEALS

Eat yourself full at mealtimes, take a 5 hour break between each meal and a about 12 hour break from dinner to breakfast. All eating in between those times is off limit. (Except for the beginners, for the first few days)
Your pancreas needs time to rest without interruptions!!!
Drink water, unsweetened coffee (little creamer), tea, NO fruit juices, sodas of any kind.

Well, I guess that is all I got for now. If you have questions of any kind about this, please let me know and I will get answers for you.

It is like this, I am fat and desperatly looked for something that doessnt restriced me from foods I like, and doesnt make me eat foods I dont like.
I found it with SIS!
I want to give this knowledge to others who are in the same boat as I was in, and just couldnt find a diet that works for me. And I know that we “Fat” people are not fat from eating good and healthy foods. You got to agree with me on that?!
So now with SIS you can eat what you want and mostly as much as you want. The only difference is what you eat together and at what time of day you eat it.

Also I found out…….I had a severe sweet tooth before SIS, especially in the evening it was either sweets or salts I graved. A few days after beeing on SIS I lost this graving completely, somehow when you eat like that you get enough Sweets and salts into your body so your body wont grave it at the wrong times with the wrong food choices.

And there is another thing……if your honest and I am talking to the obese people here mostly…….

Do you like to go to the gym? Do you like to walk an hour around your neighborhoods?

I dont! But nevertheless I am losing consistantly weight. I go to work, and yes I walk a lot there but I walked like that before and didnt lose nothing, ok. I come home do what I absolutly have to do, and either I sit on the pc or I sit on the couch like I did all these years, and still since I am on SIS, I am losing steady!
Perhaps when I lost some weight my energy level will go up and I will go to a gym, or walk around the neighborhoods, but for right now….NOPE

I am not trying to sell you a product, I am not trying to make you sign-up for a perticular website, I am just here to let you know we need to do something to lose our unhealthy weight and live a long life!

And I beliebe wholeheartedly that SIS is the key to this!

My friends, I am there where you are weighing at 5.7′ …253 pounds. I am open and honest, I cant be anymore transparent to you with this.


I am truly concerned about all of our health!

Yes, the weighloss will be slow, but we didnt gain it overnight either, right?
Also you will give your skin time to readjust, which you dont when you on those quick-slim diets.

Wal-Mart and weightloss, now that’s a combination

Well you all, just a quick update…….

I lost a bit more weight. Yes eat your hearts out it is coming off very SLOOWWLLYY, but it works. I am 100% hooked on this Lifechange thing. I eat what I want, except not when I want it. :lol:

Today  I had for Breakfast…………….Oatmeal with brown Sugar and Raisins and 2 Tbsp of
                                                               Wheatgerms
5 Hours later I had for lunch………….Pasta w/Ground Beef and Gravy (dont know what
                                                                you call it in english, but its good) and 1Banana
then after more than 5 Hours later…Asparagus steamed, Salmon, and a small salad of
                                                                Peppers, Tomatoes, and Broccoli

AND THE SCALE SAYS………..

As you see I live well and take in “Healthy” foods. And it is delicious, and I eat a lot.

Except the water intake I just cant drink that much yet, but I work on it.

Now to Wal-Mart, since I dont do no sports as of yet, my job at Wally world gives me exercise if I want to or not :lol:
I run mostly all day back and forth through the store. And it helps me right now with not been in a gym, but I tell you my feet and legs are killing me :( Pray for me for becoming pain-free

Tomorrow I am finally a day off, but on Saturday I got to be at work at 5am, now that sucks, but I dont complain! Since I go in so early I get off early too, and I am off Sunday and Monday, there is a light on the end of this tunnel.
All in all I really like working for this company. I wish they would get their management up to speed so we all would be on the same page. But with this constant change of managers lately, everyone has other rules. Right now we have a “acting store manager” he seems nice, and I see he is constantly in touch with all our associates and this to me looks like he is caring, but how long will he be in our store?  Thats the question! :roll:

On a other note……please keep Katy from Katysblog in your prayers she is going through a very rough time, but the new doctors seem to show more interest in her case than the doctors before. Pray that the Lord will give those doctors the wisdom they need to heal her!
Pray for my coworker who has problems with her Pancreas as well. She has been in pain for a long time now and she never complains or misses work. She needs prayer guys, OK?
My other coworker his wife has cancer and she needs desperately healing too, and pray for peace for her husband. Since she got diagnosed and had surgeries her husband is very afraid of losing her. May our Father give him comfort and peace in this difficult time!

Our Lord is so awesome and so gracious, he hears our every word, what do I say? He knows what we are going to ask for, before we even speak it. So please pray for all those needs and let me know if I can pray for anyone of you ?!

And since I asked for all those prayers and re-read it……I see how small my problems are and my feet and legs are really of no importance. So many real sick people, and here I complain about this pain. Forget about it! Just pray for the people I listed above, will ya?

Hello everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lately I am just in pain. At first I had blisters on both feet from the new job, well they are gone. Now I have pain in my left ankle, it seems like everytime I turn around another thing is happening :(
But thats ok, I will work through this too!
I am doing ok in the job now, but with management constantly switching, every new boss wants my job to be done differently. This causes lots of headaches.
All my coworkers are totally confused by this, and a new store manager is on the horizon so we been told. Another one, another change is all I say :lol:

But all in all I think I am doing ok now.

But what I mostly want to say is this……

I lost another pound on the new “diet”. I put in in those “, because it isnt a diet, it is a lifestyle change, a food intake change, and I love it. The only problem I have with this is that I cant drink enough as they recommend. They advice to drink 3 liters of water a day, well I cant tell you right now how much that is in gallons, but I tell you that I drink probably half of it :(
If this keep going this way I might be able to get the energy to finally go to the YMCA and work out, wouldnt that be something?

I didnt go to church AGAIN this passed sunday cause I am pooped.
It’s like I wake up at the regular time that would give me time to get ready, but my feet are made out of lead. Even my calves aching severly :( So I had best intentions to go, but I didnt and spend the morning laying on the couch with my legs elevated, and was upset with myself that I missed church. Is my own dang fault though!
Then my pastors wife Jennifer emailed me today saying she saw me at Wal-Mart but as usual she couldnt get a hold of me cause I am just running in all directions (been busy), And of course she emailed that I missed a great sermon, like I dont know that. It doesnt matter what David the pastor preaches about, it is ALWAYS a great sermon :) He just got the gift !

So now you all are updated, and please pray for my feet, and my weightloss :)

Losing weight Part II…this is incredible to me

Well I been on this “Lifestyle change” for the passed few days and as I said you wont lose it quick, but you didnt gain it that quick either. But most of all it is something anyone can live with for the rest of their life!

Here is my first update on that I lost 1.1 pounds and not doing any kind of sports!!!

Now isnt that a good beginning?
Without having to change a lot, you just look what you eat together speaking of Protein +carbs, keep them separated in the morning and in the evening. Eat a lot so you wont be hungry after any meal, and keep the breaks in between meals of at least 4.5 hours. But like me in the beginning days I couldnt figure out how much to eat and I was worried I eat to much, so I held back and was hungry always after breakfast. So I got on their message board and they told me to eat a banana or a fruit yoghurt. To tie me over and it helped, but now I know I can eat a LOT and dont worry about it nomore!!! :)

I think it cant get easier than this!

Today for breakfast I had a huge bowl of oatmeal and I aded brown sugar, and a variety of dried fruits (its just easier than fresh, but you can use anything like canned, or fresh or frozen). To that I had 4 slices of toasted bread with chocolate spread on it, and I ate a banana.

For Luch I had MacNCheese, and two chicken thighs, and an apple.

For dinner (listen to that)
A pork chop a big one :lol: with broccoli and cauliflower with cheese, and a HUGE salad.
Now I saw on TV the commercial about Glade Steamer Bags, well I bought them and put about 4 cups of my veggies in it, and steamed them in four minutes…..EASY I took the veggies put them in a casserole dish and put lots of cheese on top and put it in the toaster oven for a few minutes..mmmmmh DELICIOUS

Honestly I couldnt eat it all. My husband was laughing when I brought my plates in, he said “You gonna eat that all?” I said “YES” but I couldnt.
And I remember a few days ago he was concerned I dont eat enough.

And still I lost 1.1 pounds without any sports.

Well just wanted to update you all .

Sleep yourself slim…HUH???

Well I finally found a losing weight thingy that works for me. So far so good :lol: it is only my second day but believe it or not I feel somehow better. I dont want to say lighter but in a way I do, it seems like this different food intake makes you feel lighter in a way.

With this you can eat what you want but not all at the same time…and NO it is not the Atkins diet. Actually it isnt a diet it is a change of what and when you eat.
You eat in the mronings only carbs. At lunch you eat a mix of all and for dinner you eat only protein. There are some neutral foods you can add to any meal. But the big thing is between each meal you leave your body rest for 5 hours and overnight 12 hours before you eat again.
You can eat anything you want. Of course if you can stay away from fatty, sweet, salty foods, thats even better.
The point is I gained all this weight over years. I tried many diets “jojo” effect, and ended up with more wieght after I got off, as when I started it.

I found out from a family member of mine in Germany who tried it and is still on it, and said she will never stop doing this. She started and loses about almost 2 pounds a week. Usually I found out it is about a pound a week. I do not know any english name for it, also the website is only in german language, so if you are able tor ead german go over there and check it out. IT is by far the easiest, and never be hungry “diet” I am on. I know its been only two days, but before I knew right away if this was working for me or not. Mostly it was working for a few weeks but than I gave up because I seemed always to be hungry right from the beginning.

Now, I dont know everything yet. I am reading and learning as I go. What you need to do is drink lots of green tea, prefferably without sugar and especially no sweetener. I have to admit I add a little bit of “Sugar in the raw”. I just cant drink green tea without anything.

My breakfast yesterday before church looked like this…

I had a whole baquette toasted with a little butter and strawberry jam. Mmmh

For lunch I had a 2 italien sausages fried with rice (plain) and cole slaw.

Dinner I ate about 8 slices of muenster cheese and about 4 slices of salami with a handful of grape tomatoes and carrots(That was a mistake for some reason) and a quarter of a green bell pepper with dip. I dont know yet whats up with the carrots but I shouldnt be eaten them at dinner time. Well I am still learning.

This morning I ate a oatmeal flakes(plain) poured a cup of boiling water on it, let it sit a bit then added a apple chopped, as well as a chopped peach. Talking about been stuffed….uhmmm YES I AM!

This afternoon I will eat a porkchop breaded and fried with some macNcheese, and greens. For dinner I will have a huge salad with lettuce, tomatoes , no carrots, a lot of cheese, and the leftover pepper.

I am really impressed with that website and I am very sure I will stick with this. It is easy and it is filling and most of all you dont have to eat certain things you dont like, or dont eat certain things you do like.

I will not lose weight fast I am aware of that, but like I said it took many years to gain it too. And there is no miracle diet out there. And all those jojo diets are just what they are you lose, and you gain and mostly you gain more than when you started it.

Of course exercise will speed up the loss of weight, but I am not ready for that yet. And my name isnt Totaltransformation either :lol:

Right now I cant think of nothing to add here, but if I do I will post later on more on this.

Doctor needed for HPS and GI-tract problems

I am blogging tonight for KATY.

Katy needs desperatly to find a doctor who knows about HPS and GI-tract problems. If there is any doctor out there who reads this and can invest time into this please go over to Katysblog.

We are talking about a young lady who is in need of a doctor that specialices in this or is in research for this kind of thing!

The parents as well as all the people who pray for her are becoming fed up with doctors saying “The insurance wont cover it” and ” They have no time to research it” and “Just eat”

Please, it is my prayer that somebody reads this post and can give some help here. I think even though I dont know nothing about it, the more it is out there perhaps someone will read it and can help!!!

My daily Life 10-02-07 I havent been blogging as much as I used to!

Well since I got the new job, I have to say I am very tired when I get home. I run all day long back and forth through the store. And the job does have a high stress level. Perhaps this stress is caused because I am new and have to learn a lot, or this job is just a bunch of stress, I dont know!

Anyways, that is the reason why I am not as much on the computer as I used to be. See I give it my all in this new position. So I try to get enough rest when I get home, and I also still have a husband and a home tot ake care of, so the blogging has to be put on the backburner for right now :(

I still smoke and still try to quit but just cant find it in me at this time. My cigarettes are my little pacifiers for the stress I guess.
My husband had for days pain in his jaw and we thought he needed a tooth pulled but when we got to the oral surgeon he send us to a dentist for boneloss.
So we went to the dentist and found out he needs to see a periodontist. Also he had an abcess on the right side of his jaw and it was treated with antibiotics.
After a week now since we were at the dentist instead of his cheek swelling going down it puffed up today really bad and I have to say he looks like a hamster.
he is AGAIN in pain and still cant eat solid food. So we try tomorrow to get in with the dentist again to see what is going on. The appointment for the peiodontist is weeks away.
I am very concerned about his problem.

But this is nothing compare to what my friend from church and her family is going through.

Many times I put a link in here to visit Katy from Katysblog. To leave her well wishes or prayers. Katy has HPS (you can read all about this condition on her blog).
Finally after many months of desperation and lots and lots of pain, doctors gave her a medication that really took care of lots of the symptoms associated with HPS. But now she is in agony once again.
Please pray for Katy, pray that a doctor will read her blog and can help to unlcok this puzzle. Right now she is for the passed few days in the hospital and her condition isnt looking good!
We need lots of prayer and let God show us a miracle for his Glory and her healing.

We all know that prayer can do amazing things and still can bring miracles to us. So please join in, go over to Katys blog and leave a encouraging note, not only to her but also to her parents and her siblings!!!
