My daily life 08-29-07 The new job and having ants!
Well guys it has been a couple of days since I posted last.
I am very busy at work learning and applying the newly learned tasks. Today for example I was sitting for about two hours on the computer at work. I have to say I like the new job. But it is still new so I have to wait and see in longterm.
My husband still isnt doing much better.
My mother went this morning into the hospital for another throat cancer surgery. She is scheduled for surgery tomorrow and I must admit even though I pray constantly I am a bit afraid for her right now. She is 78 and fragile. The last time they did that surgery she had severe complications, and we are both afraid that this happens again, and who knows the outcome but our Father.
So please, everyone who reads this, please pray for my mom her name is Sonja!
Yesterday my husband was off from work and my son too, and we spend the evening together that happens very seldom. My son invited us for cheesesteak subs from the “New Yorker” Pizza place and they were very delicious! We watched some Tv together. We had really a great time for a change!!!
THis evening when I came home from work my hubby informed me that we have now this stupid little tiny ants in our upstairs bathroom. I just dont know anymore what to do. This little creatures where on my kitchen counter twice as well as on the kitchen window twice. I had them multiple times on my kitchen floor and now we have them upstairs in the bathroom.
Does anyone have a remedy for it???
I been using a product called “Hot Shot” for ant and roaches. It works instantly but they keep on coming back after a while. Wy do I keep getting them???
Well you all I am off to cook some food for tomorrow
You all have a blessed evening
In His Grip
Andrea

I don’t know if you’ve tried it or not, but try spraying around the house as well–if you spray at the area they are coming in, the effect may dissipate or they may find another way in. Sometimes ant traps (where they take it back to where they live) work as well.
Was that New York Pizza on Hardy Rd? They have GREAT cheese steak subs.

they also do not like cinnamon. It is kinda messy, but I sprinkled cinnamon where ours were coming in and they didn’t return.

Dan,
we sprayed around the house. But ti seems they appear suddenly and without a trail. And yes the subs came from Hardy rd.
I might have to get some traps and just place them in different locations!

Suzanne,
thank you for stopping by and commenting!
I had to check ou out as well, and really like your blog
The mess wouldnt bother me, but there is absolutly no trail to find where they would come in
Come back more often and put in your two cents, ok!
God’s Blessings

Someone JUST told me about an ant killer called “terra.” He said it was the best stuff to wipe out the little critters!
BTW. I like the new look of you blog and we miss you at small group. It really has not been the same without you.
