Afterwards we went all to a place to eat icecream.

Well it was very nice but I tell you what, they had it at the Jeffersons Pools in Hot Springs, VA. This pool really really stinks. And not only that, it was hot. To take a dip for health reasons might be good if the smell dont kill ya.

But all around it was very nice the kids that got baptised asked for two songs to be sung. One was “Jesus Loves Me”, the other was ” Tell it on the Mountain”. And we all stood around in a circle and sang, than we prayed, and than the kids were baptised. I never been to a baptism so it was nice to watch.
And I was so happy with my little Cousin Brandon.
He is so into God. He loves God, he loves to read his Bible, and with his 11 years of age he goes to adult Biblestudy and loves it!!

The only thing I missed was seeing my Church Family. I am so used to going to OUR Church on Sunday that I really missed it badly.

Anyways, I spent a few more hours at my Cousins house and drove home about 8:00pm. Right after I left and drove through the mountains I big thunderstorm started and I was praying to get down off this mountain and into town. I thought it might be easier to drive in the city or interstate with the lightning all around than here in the mountain.
But no, it got worth the more I moved towards Roanoke the worth it got. Especially near Eagle Rock the Rain was beating down so bad even with 15 mph I couldnt see the road. I was so afraid I almost cried.I had to stop multiple times till I could see the road again! By then we are talking about 10:00pm. I finally arrived in Fincastle at around 10:30pm and the rain started to slow down and so did the lightning. When I arrived in Roanoke there was no rain or lighting at all.

Oh, I got those cellphones and love them. They are so pretty
And they actually work. I got very good reception too. And the pics you see above are done with that little camera in the phone. Isnt that something?
The picture where Brandon eats icecream were done by someone else.

Well you all I am pretty beat today, so I end it right here!

Love and Blessings
Andrea

I can’t think of a better way to celebrate Baptism than with icecream! Actually, everything is better with icecream!!! (Just kidding)!!! :-D

What an awesome testimony your cousin is - and to be Baptized in a real pool of water! How cool is that???

Glad you guys are getting rain up there…we could use some here in Georgia! Sorry you had to travel through such dangerous conditions though. That’s NEVER fun!!

Well, God give you good rest today, Andrea, and bless you beyond measure!
