All Praise to Him
I am totally new to the Blog thing and I just found a blogroll I think…lol…and it is all about Christians and God and it is wonderful.
Now I just wish I could write in a other text color. Well dont laugh that’s a problem for me.
But to get back…isn’t our God just amazingly great?
I became a Christian not to long ago and I am already 44 soon to be 45 years old. It was a funny thing though. I work for Wal-Mart and I needed a bed for my adult son since he moved back in with us. So I asked a co-worker of mine if she knew anyone giving a way a bed. She said “well my daughter is a member of this and this church…she probably can help you. I will give her your number and she get in touch with you”
Don’t you know it the same afternoon that daughter of my coworker called me and said she got a complete bed for me. It came from a other couple that belonged to the same church. That evening that husband of that couple called me and he said if it is OK he will bring it by my house that evening. When he came he didn’t only have the bed and box-spring and mattress, he also stopped at a store and bought pillows, and a whole comforter and sheet set.
As a “thank you” I called the lady ( the daughter of the coworker) up and she told me about the church and how they meet in small groups through the week. Of course she asked me if I would like to come and join them. Of Course I said YES, but only as a Thank You…you know…I felt guilty about getting the bed for free and it comes from a church group kinda thing you know.
So I went and I have to say I enjoyed that group very much..at first I thought I go a few times…than stop going…paid my dues kinda thing…. But to my amazement I was looking forward to those Friday nights get together. So I became a regular small group person until one day. I wanted to see how that church is…so I went there and I never quit going…I got saved in January of 2006 and became a member of the associated reformed Presbyterian church in July of 2006 I think. I love it, I love my church family, I never met so many kindhearted, honest, friendly people than the people from my church. I can only say if you ever in the Roanoke, VA area on Sunday morning you have to stop by at Wellspring Presbyterian Church and you feel right at home.
We have a thing called “Linger Longer” after the service you can go in the Foyer and we have refreshments, coffee, Hot Chocolate, snacks and you can meet new people, new friends. The Pastor is an awesome man of God. When he preaches you actually see the things he talks about. What can I say I am in Love with the Lord!

May God bless you greatly on your new blog. I will place your link on my blogroll if that’s ok with you.
I’ve been doing this “blog thing” since January 1. I created a blog at http://www2.blogger.com/. I write everything over there and save it in drafts. Then I copy/paste it and transfer it over to my wordpress blog and publish it. Blogger.com allows writing in colors. Until I figure out how to do it at wordpress, it will have to do.

That’s how it seems to work on the blogosphere-networking. It’s like “as you give so shall you receive.”
Go to ‘dashboard’
click ‘blogroll’
under ‘Blogroll Management’ click ‘add links’
when you are on someone’s blog make sure before you copy/paste their address in the address part on top, that you have first clicked ‘home.’ This will give you the front page of the site.
Mine would be http://cumby.wordpress.com/
paste the address in where it says ‘Address’
write in the name of the site ‘Christian News Analysis’
click ‘blogroll’ on the right
click ‘add link’
Now you can click ‘view site’ on the top of your page and you should see it there.
After awhile you will have added many other sites and hopefully they will have added yours. Be patient and watch your blog slowly grow.
You can access the forums to ask any questions by going to the bottom of your page and clicking ‘WordPress.com’
God bless!
